Could this be an example of a social paradox?

I'm pretty sure that you haven't seen this in your whole life and you probably never will. An attractive person who is either/both unpopular and/or has no friends, due mainly to the fact that popularity is based 50% on appearance and not to mention how you look will decide what your rank is on schools social hierarchy is, that is unless your a generally awesome person.
