Giuliani??

If Giuliani is the nominee for the Republicans and is elected President what effect do you think that might have on the party? Will the moderates gain more control of the party? Because it seems like the Republican moderates have been diminishing since Reagan came along in 1976, (and Ford was forced to replace Nelson Rockefeller, a moderate, with Bob Dole, a conservative, on the ticket) and especially in recent years. But in some ways earlier it seemed like the party was willing to move more toward the center with either McCain or Giuliani to be better able to defeat Clinton and because of Bush;s unpopularity. But it seems now like they're moving further to the right. Anyway if that happens will the Republican party change with Giuliani rather than Reagan or Bush as its leader?
