Will a 1.9L out of a saturn or escort fit a 1994 Mercury Capri Xr2?

I have a capri with a bad engine and capri turbo engines are hard to find does anyone know if a 1.9l would work in this car....or does anyone know where i could go to find out this information. The car has a 1.6l mazda engine....if u need more info wikipedia can help u more then i can lol!
