Do blue jeans match with burgundy shoes?

I think the burgundy shoes look good, especially with jeans that are a darker wash. The shoes would match a black shirt, in my opinion but as for flannels it depends on what colors are in them. Certain shades of green and gold/yellow go well with burgundy.
