Here's some history on Rugby League and a bit on Union i bet you didn't know, very interesting, worth the read?

Ok this is all true, i promise, so did you know that about 200 years ago in England, the game of rugby union was invented, it was called rugby cos it was the town name where it was invented, and back then it was a game for the doctors/lawyers and all the posh/rich people, so they started up a Competition and realized that they needed some more muscle and aggression cos these blokes had important jobs and appearances to keep up, so they asked the coal miners to come and play, so these coal miners agreed and they provided the mungrel and started to do all the hard stuff for these rich bloke, who just finished off plays and got all the credit, and after the games the miners were tol to pi$s off and weren't allowed to drink with the rich people, cos back then, and pretty much no one knows this but tries were worth nothing back then, you had to work the ball down field and once you planted the ball in the oppositions in goal, you got no points, your reward was a goal kick/conversion attempt, which is why a lot of union these days is still focused on penalty goals, bet you didn't know that lol, there game hasn't evolved, so anyway these tough coal miners said stuff this, lets go make a better game, well make it the best game on earth and they broke away and modified the game over a long period aneventuallyll gave birth to rugby league, so thank god for the good old hard a$s tough coal miners for making the best game in the world, so there you go people, now you can brag about how smart you are and how much you know to your friends, feel free to leave any comments you like, or just read and say oh cool :)
