What good are the royal family for england?

There isn't enough time or space here to list all of the good that they do for the country.So they aren't elected,it does not make any difference to the way I live my life.I have more freedoms than they do in u,s.a.The government,that makes the laws,is still elected by the people and we don't have the vast expense of presidential elections every four years and at in excess of $1 billion for the election plus $158,000,000 just for the inauguration ceremony,look at all of those noughts people,just for placing his hand on a bible and repeating a few words and even that,they had to do again because they made a dogs dinner of it,ours is costing us loose change in comparison.I think they are bloody good.
