Would there be any religious implications to the proposed inclusion of the chimpanzee in the genus ?

My concept of what some call God includes all things. They are understood as ever changing manifestations of energy. The only thing certain in the universe is change. Being human does not, to me, make us any more unique than other life forms apart from physiological differences and awareness of self. Our makeup is roughly the same carbon based life that inhabits this lovely planet. There is only ALL.
